Education Hour: “Praying with Joy: Paul’s Letter to the Philippians”

Paul’s letter to the Philippians is different from all of his other letters. In his farewell to one of his beloved faith communities, Paul writes a love letter filled with gratitude, affection, and joy even in the midst of uncertain circumstances. This stewardship season, we’ll dive into what Paul wanted to be sure to share with the community in Philippi, how his concern in Philippians is focused on the whole community of faith, its growth and health, its identity and mission, and actions in and for the world, and through all of that we’ll seek to uncover how Paul’s words might still be speaking to us today.
