FCC MUSIC MINISTRY
FCC CHANCEL CHOIR
The First Christian Church Chancel choir is open to all interested parties. Prior choral experience is helpful but not required. The choir sings for weekly services mid-August through mId-May, and prepares several special services each year (Lessons and Carols and Maundy Thursday).
Rehearsals are from 6:00-7:15 in the Chancel Choir Room, which was fully renovated in 2021.

INSTRUMENTS
After a successful capital campaign in 2017-2018, First Christian Church purchased a Casavant Frères organ (Op. 3394) that was headed to the landfill in Shawnee, just outside of Oklahoma City.
Through the expert craftsmanship of B. Rule & Co., the organ was dismantled, transported, stored, relocated, retrofitted and expertly tuned to our sanctuary, where it was dedicated in September 2019. The organ specifications can be found here.

Purchased and dedicated in 2024, the sanctuary piano is a Mason and Hamlin Concert BB (7’2”).
