Thanksgiving Meal
Since 1995, our congregation has prepared meals on Thanksgiving Day and delivered them to persons in the community. State Street Methodist Church partners with First Christian in this ministry that provides over 900 meals each year.
How to Help
People are needed to prepare and assemble food and to deliver the food on Thanksgiving Day each year. Sign-up sheets are typically available in the church a few weeks prior.
The cost of the meals comes from designated gifts and from the church budget. If you would like to make a monetary gift to this ministry, you can do so via the Giving link at the top of the page.
