Youth Mission Experience, June 4-8 – Bethany, WV

Our youth are invited to join our 2023 Youth Mission Experience the week of June 4-8. We will be traveling to Bethany, West Virginia with groups from Beargrass Christian Church and First Christian Church in Lawrenceburg, KY. 

Bethany is the home to Bethany College, a Disciples of Christ college founded by Alexander Campbell, who is one of founders of what has now become our denomination – the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In addition to service projects in the town of historic Bethany and with the Disciples of Christ Historical Society, we’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the history of our denomination in one of the places from which those roots grow from. We’ll also do this in collaboration with two other youth groups from Disciples churches in Kentucky! 

Each day will offer opportunities for relationship building, service, reflection, worship, and fun.
