Introducing: Small Groups 2020

Starting September 13, we will offer small groups that will last seven weeks. Some will meet weekly, while others will meet less frequently. Some will meet in person and follow our Safer Church guidelines, which include no more than 12 people in the building at a time. All of our small groups are intended to nurture your faith and connection to your church family.

Some small groups have been meeting for years and are Sunday School classes or other groups. But we are calling them all small groups to simplify things.

STAY TUNED — There may be a few more small groups forming in addition to what’s listed below. We’ll keep you updated!

THE FINE (BUT IMPORTANT) PRINT:

In Person Groups:

Please note that groups meeting in person require you to sign up in advance so we can keep to the 12 person limit.

The Safer Church Committee has created the following guidelines to promote safety and minimize risk for in person groups.

  • Group leader will take attendance and report participants to office, via the form at the bottom of this page, within 24 hours for the purpose of the contact tracing
  • No more than 12 people are to gather at one time
  • Carter Hall is the designated indoor meeting space
  • Face masks required
  • Maintain at least 6 feet physical distance
  • No food or drinks as part of meeting (exception is someone bringing a personal water bottle or drink.)
  • Those with symptoms (cough, fever, etc.) must stay home
  • Group leaders will do a verbal symptom check before each meeting
  • Bathroom: One at a time, clean with Clorox wipe on your way out
